
Diane P. Beauchamp, Massachusetts – 2001
Diane has been officiating volleyball for over 17 years. “I have been a member of the National Rating Team…and a clinician at a National Training Team Camp.” She has coached volleyball at Bridgewater State College and Stonehill College. Additionally, she has coached a women’s volleyball team for the Bay State Games competition.
Her league and board affiliations include the South Suburban Board of Officials the Boston Board of Officials, The New England Board of Volleyball Officials, the Professional Association of Volleyball Officials, and is a member of the Big Ten Officiating Staff. She has officiated at O.W.C.A. women’s collegiate athletics.
Tournament championships at which she has officiated include: the national Invitational Volleyball championships, the Ivy League championships, ECAC, NCAA Division III Regional Championships, and high school state championships for girls and boys.
“Over my career as a volleyball official, I have tried to be involved with local as well as national professional organizations. I believe in giving back to the sport and have dedicated and continue to dedicate much of my time to doing so.”
Diane has served in many capacities with her professional organizations, including: the South suburban Board of Officials as secretary (10 years), co-chair volleyball, and coordinator, state rating section; the OHNA as rules interpreter; the New England Volleyball Organization as rules interpreter; OWCA and NEVO as fees negotiator; the Boston Board of Women Officials, serving as co-chair for volleyball, rules interpreter, fees negotiator, and as an observer for new members.
