Emma Williams, Massachusetts – 1992

Emma is currently the Director or Athletics for Girls in the Springfield Public Schools.  During her coaching career, she coached track & field, basketball, field hockey, gymnastics, tennis, and volleyball.

She has been an active official in softball, track, field hockey, and basketball, and has also served on the eligibility review board of the MIAA.

To recognize her dedicated service, the Hampden County Officials’ sportsmanship Award has been named in her honor.  She has also received the MAHPERD Honor Award and the Support and Assistance Award given because of her concern for “Kids.”
