Ann V. Fariss, Connecticut – 1990

Ann is the Women’s Athletic Director at Arnold College, Bridgeport, Connecticut.  Her forty year career includes teaching and coaching at both the high school and college levels.  She has been involved with the Connecticut state officiating board, the Southwest Board of Women Officials in basketball and volleyball, and the Stuyvesant Field Hockey Association.  She has hosted regional tournaments and organized the first women’s intercollegiate volleyball team at the University of Bridgeport.  She is currently active on the Council of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators and is the Executive Director of the Connecticut Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
