Catherine N. McGuirk, Connecticut – 1992

Catherine is a physical education teacher at the intermediate level in Branford, Connecticut.  She has taught for 25 years and has been involved in intramural sports for 20 years.
She is affiliated with the Housatonic League and has coached field hockey at Branford High School for 15 years.  Her overall field hockey record is 194-44-30.

Her teams have been involved in state tournament competition from 1980 and ended up Class M State Champs in six of those years.

She was awarded Coach of the Year in her class by the coaches and field hockey coaches association in 1984 and 1987.
