Chloe King is a teacher and coach at The Winsor School, Brookline, MA.  Her involvement in women’s sport began in 1956 and included participation in field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball as a player, coach, and umpire.

She played field hockey with the Boston Field Hockey Association for 14 years and lacrosse with the Boston Women’s Lacrosse Association for 10 years.  Her coaching experience included field hockey at Concord Academy for 2 years and at Winsor School from 1962 to the present.  She coached lacrosse at Concord Academy from 1960-1961, and at the Winsor school from 1962 to the present.  She has also coached softball at Winsor from 1963 to 1975 and basketball at Winsor from 1962 to 1970.  During her professional career, Chloe has coached field hockey, basketball, lacrosse, squash, and softball.

Chloe holds a national official’s rating from both the United States Field Hockey Association and the United States Women’s Lacrosse Association.  She was a member of the Boston Field Hockey Association and the Northeast Field Hockey Association Committee from 1960 to 1980, serving as chairperson for two terms in each association.  During the years 1973-1982, she officiated at various post season and national field hockey tournaments.

She is an honorary member of the Northeast Field Hockey Association and the College Field Hockey Association.  Chloe received the National Emeritus Field Hockey Umpires Association Award in 1991.
