Martha Van Allen, Massachusetts – 1990

Martha is a professor of physical education at Westfield State College in Westfield, Massachusetts.  She has been an active official since 1946 and a coach since 1950.  She has coached basketball, field hockey, softball, tennis, and synchronized swimming.  Martha is still active as a field hockey official, and officiated basketball until 1989.  She continues her involvement at the training and rating sessions held by local boards of officials.  She has been affiliated with the Hampshire Field Hockey Board of Officials, the Greater Boston Board of Officials, and the Greater Springfield Board of Officials.
